I haven't watched it in 5-6 years, and I forgot how insanely creative it is. Really well animated, too. I need to see what BONES is doing these days. I haven't watched much anime for a while.
Also, the Nirvash is a manual, and Eureka heel-toes it all the time.

I need to rewatch it. I think I watched it about that long ago too. Maybe on cartoon network. Good stuff.

BONES studio is probably my favorite, Wolf's Rain, Scrapped Princess, Darker than Black...
I enjoy the anime style from that studio. That said, I usually don't watch a ton of Mecha anime. But if you think it's worth a watch I'll check it out.
Cheers!

Yeah, they aired it when Adult Swim had anime.

Yeah, the world they created is really unique. Scrapped Princess was excellent, as I recall. I wasn't a huge fan of Wolf's Rain, but that was just because of the ending, when everyone on the planet died .

There have been several anime's were they have an odd or unexpected ending. I tend to like those more for whatever reason. I like them open for alternate interpretation too.
It's been a long time since I watched Wolf's Rain, but I recall thinking that the ending could have been interpreted as a Neo-Genesis of sorts. A recycling/re-birth of a corrupt world.

I have a love hate relationship with Eureka 7. It seemed fluctuate between "Wow! This is a really good show!" And "Wow! Get over you emo bitch" throughout the entire series. However on the whole I liked it. Also you can't get much cooler than heel-tow downshifting a giant robot...organic...thing. I also recommend watching "Xam'd: of lost memory" it has a similar feel, is only around 24 ep., and is a pretty good series.

It's the old Hindu idea (I forgot the term) that the world as we know it has been "replayed" countless times. It also shows up in Raxephon, another BONES series, and The Matrix trilogy.

Exactly. That's how I looked at the ending of Wolf's Rain anyway.
Was Sasra the term you were thinking of?

Possibly. I read it once back in high school. I think Thoreau or Emerson or someone mentioned it.

Nice. I'll have to check it out.
